ah i love that frazetta image! Great life drawings as well! How much time do they give you for that anyway? the models i get are asked to move around a lot so its hard to work toward something finished.

They are 3 hour poses(with breaks every 20-25 min). the instructor I have is more focused on anatomy and form rather than gesture.

Wow your model studies are amazing! Your work is very clean cut and well defined. I can't help but think there's a little off with the face proportions though, and overall they seem a little stiff, static almost. Perhaps incorporating loose gesture strokes would help give them some oomph?

I really like the control over the pencils you have. Great gestures. How much time does it take you to do it?

I see what you mean by the stiff and staticness and thanks for the suggestions. I also know what you mean by the faces being off but cant seem to rectify. Any suggestions? more specifically, what is off?

Thanks. The drawings in the recent post were 20-25 min poses but a few of the ones posted previously are 3 hr poses.

I love your pencil work, it makes the drawings look very soft and delicate. Im new here, um would you mind giving me some critique on my art? You drawings are really nice and you seem like you have lots of experience! (No need if you don't want to of course but I'd appreciate it a lot! ) Have a nice day C:.

A mix of the drawings and studies of the past three days of figure drawing class (it would of been the past four classes but I was out sick one day :x ). Like always NSFW.

I feel the same way about the confidence and clarity. I think I just needed to get back into drawing (barley drew anything over summer break).
