Not bad, but the tops of their heads seem a tad short to me, and the girl on the right is leaning forward a bit(not sure if that's intentional).

Your figure sketches on July 5th make me sad
cuz they good
So much confidence in your strokes, and the fluidity of the body looks great, good job.

Ambiguity, I think you're right- both about the tops of heads and the leaning forwards. Thanks for noticing that!

Here are some messy traditional sketches:

Thanks Vstoll- I've been enjoying your sketchbook as well, especially the latest fashion studies (great shapes/lines).

Really like that last one (the other ones as well), your style and the colors you pick make it so pleasing. Might I as how low it took you?

Olórin, it took about an hour and a half- I think that's shorter than usual, but then again this was a comfort zone piece.
By the way, if you guys are curious about the process I happened to take screenshots along the way:

Damn, one hour and a half, that frightens me a bit.

Thank you for sharing the process though!

Thank you! It's a whole new approach for me, I've never done those shape reading practices before, and I instantly noticed the importance on them :)

Btw, do you have some tips on blending, because I always feel lost while I reach that stage of painting, I lost too many time trying to smooth things out and don't really know what I'm doing, I feel like I'm just doing random brush marks until a result that accept comes out :P

Vstoll, I don't really have a set method or anything for blending myself. I usually just paint with transfer on (you probably know but whatever- it's the computer varying the opacity of the paint depending on how hard you push on your tablet w/ the pen) and use the eyedropper tool to color pick the colors in between the ones I want to blend. Soft brushes can work too if you find yourself taking too long on blending with a hard brush.
Alongside the mini tutorial is another character creation thing I did:

Hey Vetyr, thanks! :D That's what I usually do for blending too, I was trying out some techniques with the smudge tool and a brush with scattering, but I find the other way easiest to control. I think that what I'm really struggling with is the brushwork, but I think I'm learning it, in a slow pace, but learning :P

Anyway, great sketches, as usual :D

Absolute beauty. I really love how natural your brushstrokes seem, and the colors you choose are fantastic! I really love the red-haired girl. The flat color for the hair is so appealing for some reason, and her attitude is just so kickass. I'd probably date her if she were a real person.

Two more doodles, some requests for a drawthread. Prompt for one was "comfy", and I'll let you guess what the other one was.

Was the prompt "draw me!" :D

Anyways, I love those sketches, particularly the attention to details. Awesome:)

Nope Sanguine it's not "draw me". I don't think anyone can guess it, and I'm not going to let slip what it was ;)
